Minako Ito is an associate at the firm and provides legal advice and support on global data protection compliance to multinational clients, including Japanese companies. Ms. Ito focuses her practice on the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the UK General Data Protection Regulation, the California Consumer Privacy Act, the California Privacy Rights Act, the China's Personal Information Protection Law, and the Japan's Personal Information Protection Law. Ms. Ito is registered with the Dai-ichi Tokyo Bar Association.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ito worked for three years at the Public Prosecutor's Office after being appointed as a public prosecutor, and then gained practical experience as an attorney at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune and as in-house counsel for major Japanese companies.
