We are pleased to announce the 2nd Japan Privacy Symposium.
This symposium is held as a side event of the 62nd APPA Forum during the period designated as "Japan Privacy Week" by the Personal Information Protection Commission. The event will feature a keynote speech by a Commissioner of the Personal Information Protection Commission, followed by a panel discussion on the 2025 enforcement priorities of data protection authorities. The discussion will include privacy commissioners from overseas data protection supervisory authorities as panelists.
After the panel discussion, a cocktail reception will be held, welcoming participants from the APPA Forum, including officials from data protection authorities, corporate data protection practitioners, and researchers in the field of data protection.
